Who Am I?
I am just a guy with a really cool hobby. Some may know me by my steam name Barothoth (or Baro for short). I have made mods before using other engines such as the unreal engine. For more about what other stuff I have done, check out my extended projects page here.
About Still WaterThis is the first big, ambitious project that I have ever attempted. Naturally, it is not easy to make a game with only a single developer. However, after a history of small mods and failed attempts I have decided to buckle down and create something that was truly worth playing. I wanted the game to look and feel like a AAA title while being at the low cost of free. In it's current stages, the game is gradually become more elaborate and appealing as I learn how to create the game more efficiently and creatively. From this learning curve, you can expect to experience the use of scripts, natural lighting, realistic vegetation, particle effects, and so much more from Still Water.

Making Still Water
This game was made using the free CryEngine SDK which I highly recommend if you are looking for an editor that is a little more in depth. Most of this game was made entirely of free assets provided with the SDK. Thanks to its detailed textures and models, I was able to put together something that always surprises me with its stunning graphics. I should note that I am in no way affiliated with Crytek nor am I sponsored to praise the engine. This description allows me to prove the legitimacy of the game I made. Unfortunately, I do not yet feel comfortable releasing a gameplay trailer because, unfortunately, this game does not run well at my native resolution on ultra. However, all of these pictures in the editor were taken on ultra settings at 60fps. I hope you enjoy!
